Day 1


Upon Arrival at Madurai. Our representative receives You and takes you to your designated Hotel at Madurai. Later proceed on a sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit the Meenakshiamman temple Overnight stay at hotel. Madurai is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Situated beside the Vaigai river, it was the erstwhile capital of the Pandyan kingdom and the third-largest city of Tamil Nadu. There are a string of names given to this city - City of Junctions (Koodal nagaram), City of Jasmine (Malligai maanagar), Temple City (Koil maanagar), City That Never Sleeps (Thoonga nagaram) and City of Four Junctions (Naanmada koodal).
